I am proud to be Canadian!

No matter where I travel to it always feels good to be home. There is something about Canada that is truly unique, something that makes you feel warm and cozy inside, don’t you think?

That’s why I was so excited to hear about the launch of Greetings From Canada, a limited edition run of fine letterpress postcards featuring the work of 10 Canadian artists, illustrators and designers.

Illustrations are hot right now and I love that you can use these prints anywhere – frame them, use them as stocking stuffers or mail them to a friend. Yes, I said mail, some people still do that right?

Volume one, released this summer, is distinctively Canadian and wonderfully quirky.  I love that each original artwork depicts all kinds of Canadiana, from snow caps to a lumberjack, plaid wearing bear and even a maple syrup clad pinup with husky in tow, of course what else? Isn’t that how we all look in the winter?!

Take a look for yourself. In Toronto, you can find these cards at TYPE Books on Queen West or Spadina.
