Getting kids to use their imagination is so very important, especially when raindrops fall and you find yourself stuck indoors with a very energetic preschooler.
Believe it or not, it doesn’t always take a lot to get kids thinking, excited or simply occupied. I’m a big advocate of colouring; something so simple, yet keeps my preschooler entertainment for a decent stretch of time.
But, when colouring doesn’t work, here are some great “creative play” finds you’ll want to have in your arsenal to keep your little people from tearing down the walls on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Keep in mind, a lot of these aren’t new (some old favourites, some re-imagined toys), but I can assure you these finds have been tried, tested and approved by little minds over the years.
